The loverly Cherry Ripes perfumed at my party recently and were very entertaining and engaging, or so my husband told me (as I can’t really remember a lot these days), but as he is as hard of hearing and sight impaired as myself, I'm not exactly sure of the details. Anyway, according to all our relations and friends present, they sang hilarious songs about ex-husbands, ovaries, orgasms and older ladies. I'm looking forward to having them perform at my next birthday - my 95th, which if I make it, is coming again at some stage - I think.

I saw the Cherry Ripes recently perfume at the Apollonian Hotel and they were fabulous. I love the sing-a-long songs especially after copious beers. I really liked their comical versions of traditional songs. Their version of Hallelujah would make even Leonard Cohen laugh (or perhaps cry.) They were very interactive with the audience and my blue heeler started howling in tune with them.

The Cherry Ripes were busking at the Eumundi markets recently and my little granddaughter didn't want to leave as she loves dogs and was jigging along happily as they barked to the funny music. These two old ladies are loverly. (I’m sorry my pitbull bit you Ruby, that’s just his way of being friendly.)

The loverly and very talented Cherry Ripes were performing at the Local Women Rock for International Womens Day in Noosa. They were very clever and funny and very entertaining. The audience was in stitches and nearly wetting themselves with laughter. (I must get my pro-lapse fixed.) I enjoyed the funny lyrics, the sing-a-longs and the little jig. I have booked them to perform at my next house concert.
